Responsibilities for Response Security Guard

As aSecurity Guard , youwill help maintaina safe andsecure environment bymonitoring the site, conducting patrols, controlling access, andresponding to securityincidents.

- Conduct regularfoot patrols of critical andassigned areas toidentify suspicious activityor safety concerns
- Monitor security systems, includingalarms and cameras ,



and ensure theyare functioning properly
- Verify identification andcontrol access torestricted or secureareas
- Respond promptly toalarms, threats, and security incidents
- Conduct on-sitechecks following alarmsor reported concerns
- Document incidents, actionstaken, and observationsthrough clear andaccurate reports
- Exercisesound judgment anddecisiveness under pressure
- Communicate effectivelywith team membersand supervisors usingtwo-way radiosand other communicationequipment
- Coordinate withlaw enforcement during serious incidentsor emergencies
- Maintain a professionaland visible securitypresence at alltimes

Qualifications Response for Security Guard

- Legally authorized towork in Canada
- Ability to Obtain a Valid Security Guard Licence
- Valid First AidCertification(required)
- Ability to standand walk forextended periods throughoutthe shift
- Strong observation andattention-to-detail skills
- Ability to remainalert and makesound decisions duringincidents
- Professional communicationand customer serviceskills
- Ability to workindependently and followsite procedures

Schedule

- 4 consecutive shiftsfollowed by 4consecutive days off
- 12-hour shifts
- Must be flexibleto workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
