This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a neurologist contributing clinical expertise to global research studies focused on brain health.

The role centers on supporting a clinical study involving Myasthenia Gravis through expert clinical assessment and standardized scale administration.

Consultants receive comprehensive training on operational policies, study-specific procedures, clinical interviewing, and virtual cognitive assessments before beginning study work.

You will apply your clinical and assessment expertise within a structured research setting with ongoing supervision and skill recalibration.

The position offers flexibility, with work assigned on an as-needed basis according to your availability and study requirements.

Your expertise will contribute to the reliable measurement of neurological and cognitive outcomes in clinical research.

Accountabilities:

- Clinical Study Support: Provide clinical expertise and support for research activities associated with a Myasthenia Gravis study, applying relevant neurological knowledge and assessment experience.
- Rater Training: Complete comprehensive training covering operational policies, study-specific procedures, customized clinical interviewing techniques, and virtual cognitive assessment methods before performing remote scale administrations.
- Clinical Assessment: Apply appropriate clinical interviewing and cognitive, behavioral, or functional assessment techniques in accordance with study requirements and established procedures.
- Scale Administration: Perform remote administration of relevant clinical and functional rating scales accurately and consistently, following study-specific protocols and training.

- Ongoing Calibration:



Participate in regular supervision and ongoing recalibration activities to maintain consistency, quality, and appropriate clinical skill throughout study participation.
- Quality and Reliability: Meet deadlines and maintain a highly organized, methodical approach to ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned research activities.

Requirements

- Clinical Qualification: Neurologist with an MD, DO, MBBS, NP/APRN, PA, RN, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Nursing, or a related health science discipline, or an equivalent international qualification.
- Clinical Interviewing and Assessment: Formal training in clinical interviewing and cognitive assessment, supported by practical experience applying these skills in clinical, academic, or research environments.
- Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of direct clinical interviewing and psychological or related assessment experience within clinical research, academic, or clinical settings.
- Neurological Populations: Direct experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, or functional assessments with neurological or psychiatric populations.

- Myasthenia Gravis Expertise: Experience working with or assessing individuals with Myasthenia Gravis is required.
- Research and Scale Experience: Experience administering relevant clinical or cognitive rating scales is valuable, particularly scales used to assess neurological, functional, cognitive, or behavioral outcomes.
- Organization and Reliability: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, follow structured procedures, and maintain close attention to detail.

- Technology Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel,



email, video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or similar tools, and cloud-based storage services.
- Language Skills: Fluent English, Japanese, or Mandarin is required for the study, depending on the assigned opportunity.
