Requirements and Qualifications Qualifications and/or successful teaching experience in the area/grade level posted; Knowledge ofthe BC curriculum and competencies; Strong assessment practices, including assessment as and for learning; Successful experience integrating local Indigenous culture and traditions into curriculum,



or familiarity with and understanding of local Indigenous culture and commitment to integrate it into the curriculum; The ability to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to accommodate the learning needs of all students; Successful experience integrating experiential and/or inquiry learning opportunities into the curriculum; A proven ability to develop a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of solid organization and classroom management skills; A commitmentto and successful experience working collaboratively in a team setting; A commitmentto and demonstrated experience using and integrating technology into the curriculum; The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the greater community. A current, valid driver's license and ability and willingness to travel as required. Salary and Benefits Full‑time teaching positions within Gold Trail School District offer a salary range of $60,076 to $109,520 with placement in accordance with the provisions in the Collective Agreement.
