The Ontario Jewish Archives seeks a motivated archivist for a full time, permanent role starting July 2025. In this position, you will engage in collection development, reference services, and program enhancement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting donors and researchers with vital archival materials.
Key Responsibilities: • Meet with donors and manage record acquisitions • Process, arrange,
and describe archival materials • Digitize collections and maintain repository access • Provide reference services for public and staff inquiries • Engage in outreach through programming and social media
Requirements: • Master of Information focusing on Archives and Records Management • Minimum 1 year of relevant archival experience • Knowledge of archival principles and digital preservation • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities • Familiarity with InMagic and Preservica tools
