CMHA Halton is looking for a Crisis Support Worker for its Safe Beds Program. This position is part-time (18 hours bi-weekly), aimed at assisting individuals in mental health and addictions crises. You will be responsible for offering a psychosocial rehabilitation approach, ensuring clients receive the support needed for stabilization and recovery.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct screenings and assess client referrals • Provide crisis support and counseling • Assist clients with daily living skills • Develop recovery plans alongside clients • Maintain a secure environment for client stabilization
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or social work • Minimum three years of relevant experience • Crisis intervention experience required • Strong assessment and counseling skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Support clients through crisis and promote recovery with the CMHA Halton team.
