This position serves as the Municipality's senior accounting professional, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, regulatory compliance, and productive financial processes. Working closely with the Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer oversees accounting operations, budget support, financial reporting, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, treasury functions,



and the annual audit. The incumbent provides operational leadership to the Finance Department and acts on behalf of the Treasurer when delegated.
