The Philanthropy Associate plays a vital role supporting the Ontario Philanthropy team. This position involves working closely with the Director of Corporate & Foundation Partnerships, ensuring effective management of donor information and grant applications. Ideal candidates will excel in project management, possess robust communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to philanthropy and community service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain donor information in the database
• Provide donor-centric support for revenue generation
• Monitor moves management activities and reporting
• Write competitive funding proposals and applications
• Manage special projects and events as needed
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of fundraising experience, preferably in major giving
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational skills focused on efficiency
• BA in business or related field preferred
