Group, the Data Governance Specialist will support the development and ongoing improvement of the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan Data Governance Program. Reporting to the Senior Business Consultant, you will coordinate governance frameworks, assist in data stewardship, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation while promoting data integrity across departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate implementation of the MN-S Data Strategy
- Lead the Data Governance Working Group and Data Champions Network
- Develop governance tools for data management consistency
- Monitor implementation progress and prepare governance reports
- Promote data quality and integrity across organizational datasets Requirements:
- Degree in Information Management or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in data governance or information management
- Knowledge of privacy and Indigenous Data Sovereignty
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license required Drive the responsible use of Métis data while fostering evidence-based decision-making in the NRG team.
