Become a key part of Saskatchewan Polytechnic as an Instructional Designer at the Moose Jaw Campus. This full time role focuses on creating interactive learning experiences using cutting-edge technologies and instructional strategies.
As an integral member of a collaborative team, you will design and develop engaging courses by leveraging emerging technologies like AI, augmented reality, and open educational resources. You'll work closely with subject matter experts, ensuring that every course aligns with learning objectives and inclusive design principles for diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design instructional content
• Integrate emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences
• Conduct needs assessments to inform course design
• Develop authentic assessments to evaluate student learning
• Manage course design projects effectively from inception to completion
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design or related field
• Minimum 2 years of practical instructional design experience
• Proficient in learning management systems and generative AI tools
• Advanced understanding of adult learning theories
• Strong project management and organization skills
