Aerotek is seeking a detail-oriented Prep Technician for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) in Nepean, ON. This role requires precise formula preparation to ensure efficient production.
As a Prep Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing formulas critical to the production line's success. Your focus will be on timely execution, adjusting mixtures during slower periods, and maintaining stringent quality control in labeling and mixing ingredients. Your role is essential for keeping the workflow uninterrupted, particularly in this 6-month contract position with a chance for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and execute formulas for production efficiently
• Adjust mixtures to prevent ingredient expiration
• Maintain accuracy in labeling and ingredient mixing
• Retrieve products from inventory with proper documentation
• Manage daily tasks autonomously
Requirements:
• At least 1 year in production or food prep
• Robust attention to detail in measuring ingredients
• Reliability backed by positive references
• Ability to lift 50lbs and endure 8-hour shifts
• Proficient with inventory tracking systems
