Digital Asset Coordinator

You will be responsible for the following:

Photography Coordination and Production

Capture and edit professional video and photography for projects, employees, events, social media and corporate initiatives, applying strong composition, lighting and post-production techniques to create high-quality, brand-aligned visual content

Coordinate end‑to‑end production assignments, including scheduling, stakeholder coordination, site access and production planning

Organize and maintain photography, video and brand assets within the company's digital asset management platform, ensuring accurate metadata, tagging and searchability

Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure assets meet technical, legal and brand standards before distribution





Support asset governance through licensing, permissions management, archive maintenance and lifecycle monitoring

Fulfil internal asset requests and support reporting on asset usage, content gaps and collection performance

Support the planning and coordination of EllisDon's national photography and videography program

Collaborate with communications, design, social media and project teams to prioritize content needs, manage workflows and track project delivery

Support budgeting, vendor management, procurement activities and invoice processing related to photography and digital asset initiatives

Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes and user experience while supporting related digital media initiatives as required

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in photography, video editing, digital asset management, marketing, communications, or a related field

Post‑secondary diploma or degree in photography, digital media, communications, marketing, visual arts, library/information studies or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience through employment, internships, freelance work, volunteer projects or education-based photography assignments

Experience organizing digital files, media libraries, content repositories or digital asset management platforms

Demonstrated experience with metadata tagging, file naming, taxonomy, quality control, rights information, versioning and asset distribution

Working knowledge with Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve is an asset

Experience using professional mirrorless or DSLR camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment and related photography accessories

Experience working safely and professionally in active construction or industrial environments is an asset

Familiarity with platforms such as Dash, Frame.io, YouTube or Vimeo, and project management tools, is an asset

Salary The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000
