Fluid Life is hiring an Entry Level Laboratory Technician in Edmonton, AB. Your role will involve routine and advanced analyses on oils, fuels, and coolant samples in a modern lab.
This permanent full-time position offers hours from Monday to Friday, with a Saturday shift rotation every four weeks. You'll be a core part of a lab team dedicated to quality results and adherence to turnaround time goals through standard protocols. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tests on used oil, fuel, and coolant samples
• Manage analytical instruments and perform basic equipment maintenance
• Accurately transfer results and enter data timely
• Monitor and identify lab supplies that need restocking
• Ensure samples meet QC standards during testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Technology Diploma
• Solid analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a lab environment
• Proficient with MS-Windows computer systems
• Positive attitude and work ethic in team settings
