Job Description
As a Laundry Attendant, you will process laundry by either washing, or pressing according to department standards and procedures. Use laundry equipment as per instruction and maintain them in a proper state of cleanliness. As a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute linen promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our customer satisfaction.
- Your time will be spent 4 days in production and 1 day driving.
Qualifications
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Must be fluent in English
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Valid class 5 drivers license required and a drivers abstract upon hiring will be conducted
- Air brakes preferred, but will train
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Alberta Drivers Abstract(company will reimburse if one needs to be provided)
- High school diploma
Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaged service
- Carry out various functions within the laundry facility
- Operate various laundry commercial equipment
- Attention to quality of items being processed in the machinery
- Following all company policy and procedures and working in a safe manner
- Deliver linen to different hotels and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Complete logs and reports
