Role Description This is a full time, on-site Dispatcher role based in Brampton, ON. The Dispatcher will coordinate daily freight movements, Booking, schedule and assign drivers, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries across the GTA, Ontario, and Canada.

Responsibilities include monitoring routes and load status, updating customers and internal teams, and resolving any service or routing issues in real time. The role involves maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, verifying documentation, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.



The Dispatcher will work closely with drivers, operations staff, and customers to provide clear, responsive communication and contribute to efficient, reliable transport service.

Qualifications

- Strong dispatching and logistics coordination skills, including route planning, load scheduling, and real-time problem solving.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on clear, professional, and timely updates to drivers and clients.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records, documentation, and compliance-related information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under time pressure.
- Knowledge of Ontario and GTA road networks, freight transportation practices, and safety regulations is an asset.
- Previous experience in trucking, Booking loads, dispatch, or logistics operations is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in transportation, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
