The Education Specialist will contribute to Ontario's only special pathogens treatment center, providing vital training and simulations for operational support staff. The position involves high levels of expertise in personal protective equipment protocols and standard operating procedures for dealing with special pathogens, including emerging threats. Continuous improvement and adherence to best practices are key.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop training programs for special pathogens response • Facilitate educational sessions in clinical and non-clinical settings • Codevelop standard operating procedures for patient care • Manage and execute tabletop and functional training exercises • Ensure adequate stock levels of PPE and critical resources

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, or related field • 3 years of clinical or adult education experience • Proficiency in M365 tools • Master's degree preferred • Experience in Emergency Department or ICU settings
