Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with leaders across the organization to provide trusted advice, strengthen leadership capability & support practical people solutions. As a trusted advisor & coach, you will help leaders navigate workplace challenges, resolve issues early & ensure people practices align with organizational values & excellent public service.
About the Role: As HR Consultant, you will provide responsive HR support to leaders across the organization.
Providing HR advice & coaching on employee and workplace matters.
Supporting performance & attendance management, conflict resolution, investigations, accommodations & employee relations.
What You Bring: Experience & Credentials:
Degree in HR or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
Min 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a unionized workplace.
Experience applying collective agreements, employment & human rights legislation & HR policies.
Experience advising managers on employee relations matters. Workplace investigations, grievance resolution, or collective bargaining experience is an asset.
