Our team is currently searching for an enthusiastic, positive and energetic individual to work full-time as a Houseperson/Laundry Attendant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain the cleanliness of the hallways, public areas, public and staff washrooms.
Assisting Room Attendants in bringing them required supplies
Providing our guests with an effective and comfortable experience
Ensuring good communication within the housekeeping department and other departments of the hotel
Laundry duties
Stocking linen closets throughout the hotel
Assist with guests’ luggage
Ensuring maintenance requests are promptly recorded and reported
Maintaining confidentiality and integrity with respect to guest privacy
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Fluent English language skills including verbal, reading and written
Positive, enthusiastic and energetic
Valuable personal grooming and presentation
Clear,
exact and qualified in manner
Good organization skills
Must have a high level of attention to detail
A team player that is committed to providing excellent service, while being able to have fun at the same time
Must be willing to work flexible hours, holidays and weekends
Able to work a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 20 kgs
Candidates must live in the Greater Victoria region
Position is for permanent full-time. Position also offers complimentary meals and gratuities. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.75-$21.50 per hour
