Driver/Loader (Manual Side Loader) – $30.57 per hour, Barrie, ON, Full-time, Permanent.
About the Role Emterra Group is a growth‑oriented, safety‑focused group of companies focused on waste recycling and diversion. The Driver/Loader will operate a manual side loader, load curbside materials, provide excellent customer service, and ensure safe completion of routes.
Responsibilities Operate a recycling collection vehicle. Load curbside materials into the truck. Observe secure work practices. Provide excellent customer service in line with company policies. Ensure assigned routes are completed timely and safely. Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Skills & Qualifications Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence with a clean abstract and CVOR. Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing (required for safety‑sensitive position).
Successful completion of a criminal background check. Punctual, reliable, team player.
