Become a vital contributor at the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a Policy Analyst. Engage in policy research and synthesis while working in a hybrid mode from Vancouver, B.C. This temporary, full time role will focus on supporting nursing and midwifery regulation until October 2027.
As a Policy Analyst, you'll analyze trends and emerging issues through evidence synthesis and report generation. Your work will drive organizational decision-making and influence standards support initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement research strategies for policy analysis
Gather evidence via surveys, interviews, and scans
Develop background papers and briefing materials
Analyze consultation requests and identify themes
Manage survey processes and coordinate feedback
Requirements:
Master’s degree in a health-related field
5 to 7 years of healthcare experience
Proficient in research methodologies and data analysis
Solid communication and project management skills
Commitment to Indigenous cultural safety and humility
Contribute to health regulation and support Indigenous-specific anti-racism initiatives at BCCNM.
