Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks Measure distance, volume, length and weight Operate computer controlled equipment Understand the purpose, proper usage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
Complete onboard and other logs Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Secure special attachments to equipment Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
Perform minor repairs to equipment Operate hydraulic pumping systems Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
