Become a pivotal member of Alamos Gold as a Goldroom Technician in the Island Gold District, located in Dubreuilville, Ontario. This full time role involves managing the gold room operations, ensuring security, and achieving production targets safely and effectively. In this important position reporting to the Metallurgical Superintendent, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the gold room.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the elution and stripping processes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and conducting data collection for efficient operations.
Experience with gold milling and refining processes is crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure protected and environmentally conscious task completion
Manage the continuous operation of gold room processes
Maintain gold room security and budget targets
Record production metrics accurately
Conduct workplace inspections to uphold standards
Requirements:
Secondary School Diploma or GED
At least five years of Mill Operator experience
Familiarity with gold milling processes
Knowledge of Delta V Process Control System preferable
Explicit criminal record check
