You will ensure animal husbandry, health monitoring, and technical services in a multi-species setting. The role involves communicating day-to-day with clinical veterinarians and managing the welfare of the animals in your care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily feeding, watering, and cage changing for animals
Maintain environmental enrichment according to species needs




Monitor animal health and report issues to veterinarians
Execute veterinary care instructions for treatments and drug administration
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal animal care protocols Requirements:
Completion of Veterinary Technology community college program
One year of practical experience or two years of training
Familiarity with large animals in a research setting
WHMIS training and proficiency in Microsoft Office
