About the Role: Food Counter Attendant
As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons Brooks 2146, you'll be the face of the operation - serving guests, preparing food items, and keeping things running smoothly at the counter. Day to day, you'll handle everything from taking customer orders and packaging take-out food to keeping the refrigerators stocked and food stations organized.
This role is entirely on-site , with no remote work option. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment that values reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Responsibilities
Working at the counter means wearing a few different hats throughout any given shift. From food preparation to customer service , you'll play a key role in keeping the location running efficiently and guests leaving satisfied. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently at the counter
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to Tim Hortons standards
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a friendly, timely manner
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods properly
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available
- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
