Praxis Profiles is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join our night shift production team at our extrusion manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will assist with extrusion production, inspect and package finished products, and help keep the production area protected, clean, and organized.
Responsibilities
Assist with the operation of extrusion production lines.
Inspect finished products for quality and identify defects.
Measure, count, bundle, and package finished products according to specifications.
Label and prepare finished products for storage or shipping.
Handle materials and move products within the production area.
Monitor production and report quality or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Work with team members to keep production running efficiently.
Perform other general production duties as required.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
Able to work a night shift on a consistent basis.
Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Sufficient English skills for speaking, reading, and understanding workplace and safety instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Reliable transportation is required, as there is no bus service to our location.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $19.70 per hour
