York Trails Landscaping is looking for an experienced Landscape Labourer to join our residential landscaping team in the Vaughan area.
We are looking for someone who already has hands-on experience with lawn maintenance and general landscaping work. The right person is dependable, physically capable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to work efficiently as part of a crew.
Our work is focused on residential properties and includes lawn cutting, sod installation, planting, spring and fall cleanups, and general property maintenance. During the winter season, work may also include snow removal and snow plowing.
Responsibilities
Lawn cutting, trimming and edging
Operating lawn mowers, trimmers and blowers
Sod installation
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and other plant material
Spring and fall cleanups
Leaf and debris removal
General residential property maintenance
Loading and unloading equipment and materials
Keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized
Assisting with snow removal and snow plowing during the winter season
Working efficiently with the crew to complete scheduled jobs
Mandatory Requirements
Previous qualified landscaping or lawn-maintenance experience required
Valid Ontario G driver’s licence required
Own reliable vehicle required to get to the meeting location
Experience operating lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers and other landscaping equipment
Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work
Able to lift and move landscaping materials and equipment
Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Able to maintain a steady and effective work pace throughout the day
Hours Approximately 20–40 hours per week, depending on workload, season and weather.
Winter snow-removal work is also available.
Pay
$19–$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
