Support budding writers at SUNTEP in Saskatoon. As a Casual Writing Tutor, you'll enhance students' writing skills through one-on-one sessions and constructive feedback across various styles.
At SUNTEP, we are seeking a writing tutor dedicated to aiding students in their writing journey. This role requires proficiency in grammar, essay construction, and various formatting styles like MLA, APA, and CMS. You will not only assist in improving writing skills but also adapt sessions to fit students' needs, fostering a versatile learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized writing support for students
• Assist with grammar and sentence construction skills
• Offer constructive feedback on written assignments
• Facilitate group tutoring sessions when required
• Adapt to student schedules for maximum support
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree preferably in English
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Flexibility in scheduling sessions
• Experience working with indigenous student populations
• Must not rely on AI for tutoring
