Join a dynamic data centre team as a hands-on Data Centre Facility Technician in London, Ontario. Focus on physical infrastructure, equipment, and cabling while providing IT support on-site and after hours.

In this role, you will engage directly with data centre operations, bringing your hands-on experience to help maintain safety and reliability. Approximately 70-80% of your work will involve facility-focused tasks, with the remaining time spent on IT support. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, work with HVAC systems, and respond to alarms to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct regular data centre walk-throughs to monitor equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues • Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems • Support operation of UPS, generators, and cooling systems • Install and move copper and fibre cabling

Requirements: • Minimum 1 year hands-on data centre experience preferred • Solid cabling experience with copper and fibre • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings • Experience with HVAC and monitoring systems • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
