Archives seeks a motivated archivist for a full-time, permanent role starting July 2025. In this position, you will engage in collection development, reference services, and program enhancement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting donors and researchers with vital archival materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with donors and manage record acquisitions
- Process, arrange, and describe archival materials
- Digitize collections and maintain repository access
- Provide reference services for public and staff inquiries
- Engage in outreach through programming and social media Requirements:
- Master of Information focusing on Archives and Records Management
- Minimum 1 year of relevant archival experience
- Knowledge of archival principles and digital preservation
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with InMagic and Preservica tools Utilize your archival expertise to support the invaluable work of the Ontario Jewish Archives.
