We are seeking a dedicated full-time Cook to join our team in Southport. This role involves following cyclical menus, preparing food items like soups and entrees, and ensuring proper food presentation throughout service. As a Cook, you will also be responsible for food storage, cleaning, and supporting our kitchen supervisor as needed.
Key Responsibilities: • Follow recipes and cyclical menus daily • Prepare soups, sauces, entrees, and vegetables • Maintain eye-appealing food presentation during service • Clean and store kitchen equipment after service • Ensure proper food storage conditions for ingredients
Requirements: • Diploma in cooking and registered as an apprentice • Minimum 1 year of cooking experience • Ability to cook various dishes and sauces • Current Secure Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain • Reliable transportation to and from work
