Become a pivotal part of The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville as a Disability Advisor. In this full time role, you will coordinate disability management and workplace accommodations. This permanent position requires a skilled advisor with a post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years in disability management or related areas. You will navigate WSIB claims and oversee return-to-work programs, supporting both employees and employers while ensuring legal compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate occupational and non-occupational disability cases
- Manage interactions with third-party disability providers
- Develop modified work and return-to-work plans
- Oversee the collection of medical documentation
- Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance Requirements:
- Minimum three years in disability management
- Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field
- JHSC Certification (Part I and II)
- Understanding of Ontario Human Rights Code
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license Utilize your expertise in disability management to support employees in their journeys back to work.
