As an Estimator at Macfab, you will analyze engineering drawings and calculate costs for materials, labor, and production time.

You will also prepare detailed quotes and collaborate with sales and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines. This role emphasizes effective communication with customers, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout each project. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze manufacturing projects for material and labor costs
Prepare accurate quotes for clients and project specifications




Collaborate with engineering and production teams on estimates
Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files
Maintain detailed records of estimates and project data

Requirements:
5+ years estimating in a machining workplace
Proficient in reading drawings and BOMs
Experience in CNC and manual machining processes
Understanding of assembly, welding, and fabrication
Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel
