Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems using various hand tools and construction equipment
Perform heavy lifting of materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to support project timelines
Apply positive roofing practice techniques to ensure waterproofing integrity of roofing systems
Utilize carpentry skills for framing, cutting, fitting, and finishing tasks related to roofing structures
Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Support other team members with tasks as needed to keep projects on track
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction, roofing, or related trades with a focus on commercial projects
Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and measuring devices
Strong carpentry skills and handyman experience preferred
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
Knowledge of valuable roofing practice techniques for waterproofing applications
