We are seeking a skilled Qualified to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and home improvement, demonstrating proficiency in various installation tasks. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet high-quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Job Duties
Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams to a smooth, high-quality finish
Apply joint compound using hand tools and mechanical tools as needed
Sand and prepare surfaces for painting or final finishing
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
Repair cracks, holes, and surface imperfections in drywall
Read and interpret blueprints or work orders when required
Work alongside drywall installers and other construction trades
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area
Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience as a drywall taper or finisher (required)
Solid knowledge of taping, mudding, and finishing techniques
Ability to produce smooth, high-quality finishes with attention to detail
Familiarity with hand tools and drywall finishing equipment
Physically fit and able to lift materials, stand, and work overhead for extended periods
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Valid driver’s license (asset, depending on job site requirements)
