Become a key member of the dental team as a Dental Clinic Assistant II at UBC's Faculty of Dentistry. This role combines chairside assistance with stringent sterilization protocols to ensure a successful learning workplace. In this position, you will support dental students and faculty while being supervised by experienced Dental Assistants.
Your tasks will include preparing dental instruments, maintaining sterilization standards, and cleaning clinical spaces. By ensuring that all equipment is ready and in excellent condition, you will contribute to the clinic’s smooth functioning and patient care excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Set up dental instruments and equipment daily
Assist with chairside procedures for faculty and students
Conduct sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments
Help dispense materials to dental students
Maintain cleanliness in lab and clinical settings Requirements:
Certification as a dental assistant in B.C. with a valid license
Completion of high school and an accredited dental program
At least two years of relevant experience
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team
