The Neurodevelopmental and Psychological Services Centre de services psychologiques et neurodéveloppementaux (NPSCSPN) is a bilingual clinic based in Ottawa that provides psychological and neuropsychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. The
Practice Manager plays a crucial role in the clinic's day-to-day operations, supporting both the administrative and clinical teams. This person serves as the primary point of contact for current and prospective patients, enabling clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care. You will work closely with the Clinic Co-Directors and clinicians to coordinate services and ensure administrative processes comply with privacy regulations. Location:

On average 20 to 30 hours/week. Possibility to increase to full-time. Start Date:
As soon as possible Rate:
$28 to 36 /hour. Compensation will reflect prior experience in healthcare administration and knowledge of privacy regulations. Bilingualism is mandatory for this position. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate intake appointments and manage clinicians’ calendars Communicate with patients and professionals via email and phone in a compassionate, professional,
and clear manner Explain the services offered at the clinic (e.g., assessment, therapy) and the process clearly
Upload and manage documents (e.g., consent forms, intake questionnaires, completed assessments) using secure platforms Send and track psychological questionnaires using online platforms Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balances (training provided)
Attend monthly remote team meetings Maintain compliance with PHIPA, PIPEDA, and confidentiality policies Bilingualism (English/French); strong written and verbal communication required in both languages
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed; ability to manage sensitive information with discretion Robust communication and interpersonal skills, including empathetic and professional email/phone etiquette Familiarity with mental health, psychology, or healthcare environments is a strong asset
Experience in clinic or office administration preferred Comfortable working with different software, such as Microsoft 365 and JaneApp Understanding of PHIPA/PIPEDA and confidentiality best practices is preferred
