Position Overview As Groups Coordinator, you share a passion for service excellence andinfuse enthusiasm into everything you do.You will be the primary point of contact for resort guest groups (8 ormore). From initial inquiries to formalizing bookings for golf, dining androoms,



to assisting whit orchestrating and expediting the check-in/check-outprocess and assuring that our guests needs are met and their expectationsexceeded through the delivery of a unique, world-class luxury experience.

Preferredqualifications and skills

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Hospitality / GuestServices
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Managementor related discipline an asset
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative leader whothrives under pressure
- Skilled in service recovery, consistent guestfollow up and follow through
- Proven time management skills with a strength formultitasking
- Organized, self-motivated, and goal oriented
- Highest level of attention to detail as it relatesto daily tasks




- A thorough understanding of the structure of thetourism and travel industry
- Knowledge of Cabot / Inverness / Cape Breton anasset

Requirements of the role youshould be aware of: - Based on the nature of our business andthe service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to acriminal background check as a condition of employment and an additionalcriminal background check every two years.

- As a seasonal resort business, you cananticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Based on the nature of this position, youwould experience long periods of guest interactions. - There may be interactions with patrons who are impaired. - There are periods of time where you arestanding, waiting for guests to arrive. - Ability to spend long hours movingaround, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, or sweeping - To ensure guestsatisfaction, high-pressure decision-making can happen on occasion. - Work outdoors for several hours invarying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind. - There is asedentary part to this role that involves sitting for long periods withcomputer work.
