Lead the Deadly Dads program at Alberta FNIGC in Maskwacîs as a Community Program Leader, focusing on culturally secure practices for Cree fathers.

Your role will directly impact family wellness and community engagement. This position involves coordinating workshops and discussions that are respectful of Cree culture while supporting fathers during key life transitions. You will work closely with Elders and Knowledge Keepers to integrate cultural teachings, ensuring that each gathering fosters connection and personal growth. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate community gatherings for Deadly Dads
Create safe spaces for reflection and sharing
Collaborate with Elders to integrate cultural teachings
Maintain documentation in line with FNIGC standards
Engage with community leaders and service providers Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience with Indigenous men and families
Knowledgeable about OCAP® principles
Robust communication and facilitation experience
Valid driver’s license for local travel Be part of a transformative effort that uplifts Cree fathers and nurtures community strength.
