Job Description

Security Guard Group Limited is seekingPart-Time CasualSecurity Guards to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba . In this general sitesecurity role, you will help maintain a safe, professional environmentfor clients and the public.



This is a casual position provides hours ranging from 0–44 hours per week, though strong performance could lead to full-timeemployment. We are looking for an individual who demonstratesprofessionalism, reliability, and flexibility in their availabilityfor evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Security Guard Groupinvests in its people and upholds a high standard of service, sothis position is ideal for a guard who takes pride in their work andseeks to grow with a company known for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routinefoot patrols ofsites to deter trespassing, theft, and other risks.
- Monitor surveillance systems and accesspoints; control entry to premises as required.
- Report writing – document dailyactivities and incidents with clear, detailed reports.
- Respond promptly and calmly to alarms,emergencies, or incidents, following established procedures.
- Maintain a professionalpresence at all times – uphold SecurityGuard Group’s standards of conduct and appearance whendealing with clients, visitors, and the public.
- Collaborate with law enforcement oremergency services during incidents when necessary, andcommunicate effectively with the client and Security GuardGroup supervisors.

Requirements

- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License (required by law)– candidates must already hold this license; we do not provide sponsorship.
- First Aid and CPR certification from a WSIB-approved provider(must be current).
- Legally entitled to work in Canada, with a clear criminal record (as required for security licensing).
- Availability for part-time, on-call shifts, includingevenings, overnights, and weekends
- Reliable Personal Vehicle to commute to work (someshifts or locations may not be accessible by public transit).
