Foran Mining seeks a Community and Indigenous Relations Manager to cultivate robust ties with local Indigenous communities. This full time position is based in Saskatoon and involves frequent travel to the McIlvenna Bay site and local areas. You will play a key role in enhancing community engagement strategies that support Foran's commitment to sustainability and Indigenous empowerment.
This position requires solid leadership in managing community consultations and fostering collaborative relationships while overseeing community investment programs. Key Responsibilities:
Lead MBO’s information and consultation programs
Facilitate discussions with Indigenous land users
Track and resolve community concerns effectively
Prepare engagement reports and dashboards
Develop cultural awareness training initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Proven ability to engage with Indigenous communities
Familiarity with the mining sector's legal obligations
Must hold a valid driver’s license for required travel
