Cook – Part time / Casual

Swan and Company is looking for an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual/part-time basis.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the food they prepare, works well as part of a team, and can be counted on to show up ready to work.

What we’re looking for:
Previous restaurant cooking experience required
Valid Food Handler Certification
Reliable and punctual
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Able to communicate well and take direction
Organized, clean and attentive to food safety
Able to work efficiently during busy service
Takes pride in quality, consistency and presentation
Willing to help wherever needed — we work as a team
Able to work independently when required
Evening and weekend availability

The position:
Casual/part-time
Starting wage: $21/hour
Opportunity to work alongside and learn from our Red Seal certified Head Chef




Swan and Company is currently open Thursday through Sunday, although some shifts may fall outside regular restaurant hours for prep, events or other operational needs
After appropriate training and orientation, there will be times when the successful candidate is expected to work independently in the kitchen
Potential for additional hours as needed
