A US-based technology company is building industrial IoT and connectivity solutions that connect physical equipment to a scalable cloud platform. Its next-generation platform is being designed to support enterprise customers with secure device management, identity, billing, compliance, administration, and data infrastructure.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer: Cloud Platform & Data Architecture to architect and build the foundational cloud services powering this next-generation platform. This is a high-impact role spanning platform architecture, data systems, enterprise identity, billing, compliance, and cloud infrastructure, with significant ownership over the migration of existing customers onto the new platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and build a scalable Device Database supporting trusted device identity, validation, relationships, and business-driven data structures.
Design and implement enterprise-grade billing and administration capabilities , including subscription management, monetization, RBAC, auditability, and data retention.
Develop workflows for terms and conditions, privacy-policy consent, compliance, and governance .
Architect and deliver secure, reliable customer-facing platform services and APIs.
Optimize Azure cloud environments for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency .
Drive architectural decisions across distributed systems, data architecture, APIs, and foundational platform services.
Support the migration of existing customers and workloads to the next-generation cloud platform.
Establish and improve CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and operational practices.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude,



to accelerate development, debugging, optimization, and deployment of robust production systems.
Key Qualifications:
7+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud applications , platform services, data architectures, and customer-facing APIs.
Strong experience building scalable cloud platforms and distributed systems with contemporary software architecture and design patterns.
Deep expertise in .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL .
Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure , particularly Azure App Service, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD B2C, Azure SQL, and Azure Key Vault.
Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud observability within Azure environments.
Experience designing enterprise capabilities such as identity, RBAC, billing, auditability, compliance, consent management, and data retention .
Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted engineering tools , preferably Claude, throughout development, debugging, optimization, and production deployment.
Strong understanding of cloud security, reliability, performance optimization, and cost management.
Comfortable taking significant technical ownership and driving architecture from design through production.
Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and other technical stakeholders.
