Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of 9 individuals
Responsible for ensuring that Credit Portfolios are managed to drive reduction in receivables, and to achieve or exceed DSO and Collection Objectives
Review individual team member portfolios monthly and establish collection goals
Monitor key accounts on collection portfolios
Review monthly reports prepared by the team to ensure accuracy
Ensure collaborative relationships with the sales and the credit team
Manage the credit and collection policy to ensure continued alignment with objectives
Cultivate and encourage an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork
Monitor credit limit over a certain threshold
Prepare quarterly AFDA Reports and identify high risk accounts
Manage compliance with Bell’s workways policy
Critical Qualifications
5 years experience in a Senior Credit and Collection role
Able to interpret financial reports, DSO, AFDA etc.
to manage and drive key performance indicators and targets
Thrives under deadlines and high pressure situations while managing multiple competing priorities
Demonstrates leadership skills combined with an attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Credit Designation (CCP) an asset
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
