We are currently seeking a team-oriented professional to join our Finance and Accounting department. We are looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys taking on challenges and handling a variety of responsibilities.
Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the organization’s financial analysis and planning activities. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with all business functions, the successful candidate will perform the following key duties.




Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze standard costs, including periodic reviews of standards and identification of significant variances.
Analyze Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and other cost variances, explain the drivers behind fluctuations, and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Accounting teams to validate cost assumptions and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Analyze variances between financial results and operating budgets.
Review and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare weekly financial forecasts.
Prepare monthly cost analyses within a standard costing environment and explain variances.
Assist the Financial Controller and Assistant Controller in preparing monthly financial reports, as required.
Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of annual budgets.
Provide relevant information and financial analyses to support decision-making across the organization, as needed.
Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
Develop business intelligence (BI) reports to support decision-making.
Apply strong problem-solving and logical programming skills.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of 7 years of financial management experience in a manufacturing environment.
CPA designation or currently pursuing CPA certification.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic array functions, pivot tables, financial modeling,



and report automation.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Infor M3 Cloud, as well as financial performance management systems (d/EPM) for extracting, analyzing, and consolidating financial and operational data.
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
Creative, curious, and detail-oriented.
Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is essential. English communication skills are required due to daily interactions with teams located outside Quebec, primarily in the United States.
