AMANI: Mental Health & Substance Use Services for Black Youth is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Child, Youth and Family Services, you'll provide essential care to Black youth and their families. This role includes monitoring referrals, leading group sessions, and working within a diverse interprofessional team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for clients
• Provide expert consultation to interprofessional team members
• Plan and implement client care strategies
• Manage crisis responses,
including suicide risk assessments
• Collaborate with community partners for resource navigation
Requirements:
• Current RN(EC) registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in mental health and crisis intervention
• Solid collaborative and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
