With a strong commitment to equity, candidates must hold an M.S.W. or related master's degree and possess two years of relevant experience. This role combines specialized social work knowledge, along with lived experiences, to foster a nurturing learning setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Indigenous students through counseling and crisis intervention
- Gather data via interviews, observations,
and professional contacts
- Develop effective educational strategies and anti-bullying curriculum
- Advise schools on policy and promote inclusive practices
- Document and report on student support initiatives Requirements:
- M.S.W. or related master's degree
- Registered with OCSWSSW
- Two years of related experience
- Knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and legislation
- Valid Ontario Class G license Build impactful relationships and facilitate educational success for Indigenous students within OCDSB.
