The Custodian will report to the Facilities Services Supervisor and be responsible for various cleaning duties, including floor maintenance, disinfection, and equipment upkeep. Ideally suited for candidates with prior custodial experience, you’ll organize your workload efficiently while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize floors, washrooms, and common areas
• Move and arrange furniture for effective cleaning
• Maintain and operate commercial cleaning equipment
• Restock hygiene supplies from inventory
• Manage waste disposal and recycling materials
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 10 completion
• 6+ months of custodial experience
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Positive communication skills and teamwork attitude
