Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore vehicles to factory specifications
Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening using specialized tools and techniques
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs
Conduct mechanical inspections and perform minor mechanical repairs as needed to support body work
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards at all times
Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with customers regarding repair progress and timelines
Complete detailed documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle
Experience
Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and inspections
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely
Experience working with automotive body repair techniques such as dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
Mechanic experience is a plus, demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of vehicle systems
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a team setting
