Job Title: Amazon Lex Developer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced developer to support a large-scale Contact Centre Transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing intelligent conversational AI solutions integrated with Amazon Connect to enhance customer self-service and improve the overall contact centre experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 years of experience developing conversational AI or chatbot solutions.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex and Amazon Connect.
Experience working within Agile development teams.
Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with AWS Bedrock, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
Financial Services or Banking experience.
AWS Certifications.




Experience designing enterprise contact centre solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex.
Build and maintain chatbots and voice bots integrated with Amazon Connect.
Develop conversational flows, intents, utterances, and dialog management.
Integrate Amazon Lex with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and enterprise applications.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
Optimize bot performance and customer experience through testing and continuous improvement.
Support troubleshooting, production deployments, and ongoing enhancements.
Document technical designs and participate in Agile ceremonies.
