Become a key contributor as a Junior Low Voltage Estimator specializing in structured cabling and security systems. This role requires site assessments and accurate project cost estimations.
Reporting to the General Manager, the estimator will analyze tender documents, prepare proposals, and maintain relationships across departments. In this role, you will monitor costs and establish bidding processes for low voltage systems projects. Join our team to improve project accuracy and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and recommend tender awards after examination • Prepare and maintain cost statements and forecasts • Coordinate telecommunication projects and manage schedules • Collaborate with departments to ensure feasible estimates • Conduct site assessments and support customer meetings
Requirements: • 2 years of post-secondary education in related field • 10 years of work experience in Electrical or Communications • Robust skills in project drawings and blueprints • Experience with estimating software such as Accubid • Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License required
