Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Tactical Security Guard to protect our property, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace through vigilant surveillance, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and everyone within.

Core Responsibilities
Theft Prevention & Loss Control: Actively monitor for shoplifting, and suspicious behavior.
Access Control: Secure entry and exit points and employee-only areas.
Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the retail floor to prevent vandalism and theft.
Incident Response & Reporting: Handle security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports.
Customer Safety & Service: Assist with safety emergencies, de-escalate conflicts, and manage crowds during busy periods.

Key Requirements & Skills
License/Certification: Valid Ontario Security Guard License
First Aid/CPR Certification
Communication & De-escalation:



Ability to communicate politely while maintaining a firm, skilled presence, using verbal de-escalation skills to resolve conflicts.
Observation Skills: Strong observational skills to identify potential security threats or suspicious activity.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Common Qualifications
Previous retail security or loss prevention experience (1–3 years).
Knowledge of local laws, such as the Trespass to Property Act.

Pay: $17.60 - $19/hr
